After we cross our t’s and dot our i’s we’ll book your start date, and you’ll gain access to your pre-project homework.

Complete The Pre-Work Packet
The week before our project start date you’ll need to complete the Pre-Work Packet Homework so that when your Website Week starts we’ll be ready to hit the ground running.

Your Website Week Starts!
It’s time to get to work!

Monday – Software Setup
On Monday, I will start setting up the software for your website. That means configuring your domain settings and website hosting settings, installing software on your website, and getting things ready to go. I’ll also start adding your website colors, typography, pages, and content.

Tuesday – Design Day
Tuesday is all about designing your website. I’ll be doing things like formatting content, adding images, inserting content, and more.

Wednesday – Design Review
Wednesday Morning I’ll send over the design for your review. You’ll send me feedback, and I’ll work on revisions.

Thursday – Revisions and Final Design
Thursday I’ll send the revised design for your review. You’ll send me any final edits and I’ll make those changes.

Friday – Mobile Optimization & Website Launch Day!
With the design finalized, I’ll optimize it for mobile and start migrating your new website design to your live domain.

Post-Launch Support
Your project comes with one week of email support, Website Launch Packet, and a video training on how to use your website.
FAQs
Will you write my website copy?
Writing copy for your website will be a collaborative effort.
You’ll complete the Website Content Workbook, and from what you write down in there, I’ll help refine and edit copy for your website.
What if I need to make updates in the future?
Your website project comes with a personalized video training that shows exactly how you can easily make updates to your website, like changing text, swapping out images, adding blog posts, and more. I also have a Website Care Plan if you prefer me to handle future website updates.
I need more than 6 pages. Can you still do that in one week?
If you need a bigger website with more pages for your website or have a big portfolio to migrate, that would be a custom-quoted project. One Week Websites are specifically structured the way they are so that we can hit our deadlines and work quickly and efficiently. If you need add-ons, contact me for a quote for your project.
